Freedom Reins is host to a North Country Region Equestrian Special Olympics team- the "Waddington Warriors." Horseback riding is considered a Fall sport in the Special Olympics and our season runs August through October. There are 8 free 1 hour practices included per season, with many riders choosing to stay and train year round through our Horsemanship Program. Our goal through the Special Olympics is to build riders' horsemanship skills in and out of the saddle, working towards attending competitions.
